Optimal Health Consulting is honored to have Dr. Grace on staff providing naturopathic and herbal healthcare to our practice.

Dr. Grace Ormstein brings a wealth of knowledge and experience, including education in allopathic medicine, as well as an education in nutritional and herbal health care. Dr. Ormstein believes in taking care of one’s self by paying attention to what the body needs. She stresses that the smallest manifestation might be a signal of an imbalance and wellness can be maintained when we approach the life within us from the emotional, physical and spiritual level.

 

Dr. Ormstein earned her medical degree from the University, Poland, and pursued with postgraduate training in pediatrics and psychiatry in USA, but her passion is in natural medicine. Dr. Ormstein was instrumental in the development of a new cancer medication at the Burzynski Institute of Clinical Research were she conducted many clinical trials.

 

Dr. Ormstein became a certified traditional naturopath and earned her PhD degree in nutrition. She has a great knowledge of ayurvedic herbs and herbal formulations.

1999, she conducted the Women’s Natural Health Workshop Series of programs in Houston. Also in 1999, Dr. Ormstein was named to the Editorial Board of the Women’s Health Alternative Medicine Report, edited by respected nutrition scientist Shari Lieberman, Ph.D. of New York. Dr. Ormstein is active in public education of healthy life style through the community centers.

Outside of work she enjoys all forms of art from oil painting to sculpture. She loves classical music and jazz and travels within the USA as well as foreign countries to explore the culture of the people who occupy each region.

Dr. Grace works as Medical/Herbal adviser for Himalaya USA at present.
