Mexican Brown Rice

This recipe makes 4 cups of Mexican style brown rice.

6 servings

Ingredients:

2 cups uncooked brown rice

1 cup Organic Pace Salsa (Medium spice)

1 small diced ripe tomato

1/4 cup diced fresh onion

1 clove garlic minced

1/2 package taco seasonings

Sea Salt, about 1/2 teaspoon

2 tbsp Grapeseed Oil

1 tbsp fresh cilantro for garnish

Preparation:

1. Cook brown rice as per the packaged directions. Set aside.

2. Heat 1 tbsp oil in large skillet. Add garlic, onion and tomato. Cook until onions and garlic are slightly browned. Should smell aromas strongly.

3. Mix brown rice into skillet, stirring in slowly. Stir in1 tbsp oil.

4. Add Salsa and taco seasonings and mix completely. Stir for 1 minute while mixing to prevent sticking on botton of pan.

5. Remove from heat, garnish and serve. Enjoy!
